BCS2 R00-00 digital SHINKO controller with universal inputs, 5 digit LED display PV and SV, 9 step programming function, IP 66 frontal protection, quick setup functions and 5 year ELPRO warranty! Often also called temperature controller, although many different sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) can be connected to the universal input.

It is the successor to the GCS, JCS and ACS with improvements in performance, control capacity, features, visibility and compactness.

The BCS2 R00-00 can also be used in conjunction with the BCx2 series console software (configuration, configuration storage, multiplication to multiple units, monitoring, data logging).

Easy initial configuration mode

This mode selects the basic set-up functions you need. The controller works after setting just a few basic parameters.

AT at start-up

Use this function when normal AT (auto tuning) cannot be performed normally due to temperature fluctuations. The PID parameters can only be calculated with temperature rise.

Easy to use in software mode

The standard function of the BCx2 series is a 9-step time-dependent program operation (e.g. ceramic firing, glass heat treatment, tempering, tempering).

Simple function of the measuring transducer

If you select the analogue 4 … 20 mA control output, you can turn each controller into a universal galvanically isolated transducer.

Any input TC, RTD, current or voltage will be converted to an analogue signal of 4 … 20 mA (easy arbitrary scaling).

Various Event input/output functions

Two digital Event inputs (optional) and two digital Event outputs (one built-in as standard) can be integrated. You can choose from: over- or under-temperature alarm outputs, heater interrupt alarm output, current loop interrupt alarm output, time out output, end of programme output, etc.

5-digit LED display

Highly visible and legible 5-digit LED display of PV and SV (actual and setpoint), useful for displaying a wide range of measurement inputs.

Compact 60 mm installation depth

With a depth of only 60 mm, the BCx2 series is ideal for mounting in a wide variety of control panels.

Easy setup with a PC

By connecting the BCx2 series to a PC and using the CMD-001+CUS-100 communication cable and the free BCx2 series console software, configuration and various settings can be made. During configuration, the controller is powered by a PC via USB.

IP 66 frontal protection

The IP 66 protection (faceplate) allows the BCx2 series to be used in harsh environments.

IP 66: impermeable to dust and strong water jets.
